May 7, 2020 - Classic tar and roses. I've had mixed results with '97 Barolo in recent years with many veering into balsamic and soy territory. This, however, was still youthful and fresh. Lovely.

February 24, 2020 - Deep mahogany color, after 30 mins this opened nicely with red fruit, rose petals, tar and leather. It has good acidity, an engaging energy and is well balanced. The tannins are well integrated, elegant texture and medium finish. All in all a very nice Barolo in early maturity.

Final flighten med mogna viner. Först ut är semi moderna Aldo Conterno med sin Cicala.
Lätt oxiderad med viss madeira ton. Har drar associationerna till russin, julkryddor, mörka körsbär, bakad känsla (Suspekt lagring?), rotfrukter och soya. -

September 7, 2017 - Advanced translucent colour with broad orange rim. Interesting nose with tar, roasted nuts, herbs, raspberries and furniture polish. Nose better than palate. Plenty of acid, which dominates the somehow restrained fruit and other components. Would not hold much longer.
