February 14, 2021 - Vibrant ruby with crimson tones. Fresh springtime nose with shades of cherry blossom followed by subtle hints of tobacco. Deep and smooth taste. Long finish with freshly split spruce, tobbaco and dates. Great though this wine is if I'm honest I was hoping for a little more; it never really captured the magic I was hoping for.
Drunk as an accompaniment to Beef Wellington, Dauphinois potatoes and asparagus. -
