June 7, 2020 - Fully soaked cork that broke in half but came out without otherwise crumbling. Medium dark garnet in colour with a hint of orange at the rim. Delicate nose of black tea, rosehip, red currant, cherry, dried rose petals and lots of bell pepper. More herbal than floral or fruity. Medium light bodied on the palate with dried rose petals, black tea, cherry, red currants and more bell pepper at the end. Elevated acidity. No tannins. Very dry on the finish that is just a bit tart. A very pleasant surprise!

December 1, 2014 - Wine Education Service - Mature Bordeaux (LSE): Pretty youthful looking for a 21-year-old.
Complex nose, sweet, vegetal with slightly fruity notes.
A very youthful taste, chewy tannins but this is a classy wine and will age beautifully, at present the wood dominates the fruit.

January 20, 1996 - Occasional tasting group (@ RMe): Beautiful and creamy, complex, refined and luxurious bouquet with beautiful berries, oak, cedar and some smoke. On the palate the wine is also beautiful, but after this splendid and promising bouquet the wine disappoints a bit in the mouth; it is a bit thin.
