March 15, 2016 - Snowdays with some 90 pointers: Open and pretty with crowd-pleaser tendencies. Black tea and fruitcake offer an interesting flavor and aromatic profile while hints of iron and lavender provide some good Rhone-ish notes.

May 22, 2012 - Bought this wine on a recommendation from the shop, and wasn't sure what to expect. It's actually quite enjoyable, with good fruit, a silky body and very fine tannins on the finish. Despite the deep purple color, it's got a medium body that's not overpowering, though there's not a ton of depth. For the price, it's a solid value.
