Community Tasting Notes 10

November 4, 2014 - Lots of black cherry on the nose. Fruitier than I expect. Plush and full on the palate still. Silky smooth with a long finish. Wow, that is darn outstanding.

October 23, 2014 - I fall somewhere in between people's comments. Nice bottle for the product point and price point.

Good balance between tannins and acidity - present, definitely make themselves known, and a nice counterbalance to the stronger (but not much stronger!) fruit content. Kind of like a choir in which the tannins and acid are the background and the fruits are the melody. Not a perfectly equal balance, but one which works.

Aromas and flavours of vanilla and red fruits, which are not too sweet or overpowering.

    May 13, 2014 - It's all in the bottle!

March 28, 2014 - Big fruit on nose, big mouthfeel,. Smooth Tempranillo ready to drink, shows its age

March 12, 2014 - Rather non-existent nose. Initial notes of non-complex fruits, followed by an instant loss of after taste. Honestly not what I was expecting for a wine which is now 11 years old. Agree with the other comment on here stating it is "thin". I've had deeper, darker & richer Tempranillos which were not even at this age or the price. Great price for the age, but poor value.
