  September 30, 2021 - Nice mature colour. Violets, coffee grounds, nice mouth feel but a touch acidic on the finish when drunk on its own but complements food very nicely.

  December 5, 2019 - Hard to separate fact from fiction, but I am consistently a LISINI SuperFan and this bottle once again proves its power. Soft and subtle with a chalk-like earthy texture, this Brunello will always be one of my favorites. And it really needs 20+ years to prove its real value.

  November 8, 2019 - Delightfully perfect in every way! Frankly, the only serious issue is getting the incredible hard cork out of the bottle...not kidding. But amazingly, it's just a tough seal and is not dry at the base. Lisini produces Top Class Brunello and while 1996 is not known as a good vintage, they delivered something for the ages here.

  October 9, 2019 - It's LISINI! It's 23 year aged Brunello. It's immediately floral with a bouquet that fills the room. Frankly, it's hard to imagine how to imagine and it's EXACTLY why I began my Vino Journey almost 15 years ago. Hang on as long you can enjoy the ride.
