November 27, 2023 - This has really entered an excellent place. Raspberry, blood, dark fruits. Acidity complements mildly spiced stew.

July 24, 2023 - Bigger than expected in positive way, lots of dark fruit, smooth edges, long finish - very enjoyable with a plate of red meat. May continue to improve and in a great place at present … we may dig into a few more sooner rather than later.

February 18, 2022 - Dense, highly extracted, and big like a house. A style all but extinct in the upper reaches of St. Emilion, to the professed relief of many of the same critics who lauded it 7-10 years ago - my how times have changed. With bags of black fruit, truffles, and a solid acid presence, thoroughly enjoyable if you’re in such a mood. When Baltimore Bob ruled the earth!

February 10, 2021 - Better tonight than last night. Improved with the 24 hours. Many years left in this wine. Best to not open and hold for a few more years.
