    April 18, 2021 - Delicious and impressive, but a bit austere still. I recommend holding back for a couple of years to let it soften - which I am confident it will.

    September 3, 2020 - 3rd wine in a Mitjavile tasting. Elegant and velvety, with resolved tannins but still considerable fresh fruit. At peak to my taste, but still plenty of life.

    April 26, 2019 - Quel beau vin qui se montre accessible malgré sa relative jeunesse. Belle concentration, cassis, prunes, l'ensemble est racé. Tannins serrés bien contrebalancés par la rondeur du vin. Pourra se bonifier en cave. Fera un malheur avec des grillades sur le BBQ.

    April 20, 2019 - Decanted for 4 hours. Was still extraordinarily robust. No real hint of mellowing. Dark, with strong blackcurrant aromas. Suspect it needs another good 5-10 years.

    Dense dark fruit and oak,
    More impressive than enjoyable right now.
    Needs time, perhaps lots of it.
