November 27, 2014 - Better than expected. Relatively light and smooth, paired well with the Thanksgiving turkey.
July 10, 2014 - pale golden yellow. Slight oak and melon on the nose. Vibrant acidity with green apple and lemon zest on the palate

September 18, 2013 - Served non-blind at a Justin wine dinner. Partial malo and partial use of new oak, but you'd really never know it on the nose, or the palate as this comes across ripe and spoofed. Nothing offensive about the flavors, and it manages decent acidity, but there's no core of fruit here that causes one to pay attention, let alone admire what's in the glass. At least it didn't completely fall apart like the SB did after 20 minutes in the glass. For $10 or less, perhaps it would be ok in a sauce/cooking (even that wouldn't be recommended) but beyond that, no thanks.
The best part of this wine (experience) was the fact that it was served/paired with an excellent dish of creamy potato & fennel potage with crispy prosciutto - which was really the best part of this pairing...
August 19, 2013 - Paired with scallops in white wine reduction sauce and went well
July 10, 2013 - Nose is obviously CA. Big, oaked, buttery CA style. Price point is really low for the name and style. Nice acidity too. Hints of minerality in the back.
April 11, 2013 - Bright lemon citrus, white peach, crisp and refreshing with a medium finish.
November 10, 2012 - Wine Seminar with Justin Baldwin of Justin Winery (Lincoln Park Binnys Tasting Room): Some mild french oak influence, with sub-kissed fruit, honeysuckle, light corn and toast and a little chalky minerality. Slightly hot. Subtle harvest notes. Has some class, subtlety and body, but lacks sufficient acidity and balance, in my opinion. Only good. Not great.
May 9, 2012 - Nice crisp and clean. Lemon zest, pear, but perhaps a tad too much green apple on this one. Enjoyed very much as it's just my style, a very good, but perhaps somewhat simple, not overly complex wine.
