September 26, 2021 - Used half the bottle for a short-rib recipe, sipped on the rest over the next 12 hours. Surprising amount of red fruit still present. I felt like it was a little sugary somehow? Interesting to have a little later in it's life than was probably intended. I wouldn't call this a "very good" wine, so rating an 85.

November 3, 2014 - PNP. Black center to deep purple edge. Muted nose of black fruits, currents and blackberry. Tastes of currents and blackberry. Tannin resolved but still good acid to balance. Soft and mature. A good wine for around $15.00. A little alcohol became evident after 1-1/2hrs.

May 3, 2013 - Dark ruby. Bright dark fruit aromas. Cedar, juicy plums, and menthol. Nice, thick mouth of classic cabernet proportions. Layers of spice cake, and pasty wood stained dark fruits. Decent, pure finish with nice balance. $13.95 from Haskall's in Minnesota. Great at that price! Looks like most paid around $20. I will most likely buy more.

March 13, 2013 - Had strong precipitate taste that softened next day but was poorly palatable

November 12, 2012 - Prominent taste of milk chocolate, with air more of a cherry liquer/milk chocolate, cherry flavored chocolate milk shake. It's a very creamy, soft wine, too soft, rather dull and flat, actually, with little persistence. I can see it being liked by many, but I think there are much better wines at that price.
