Community Tasting Notes 15

June 23, 2015 - Brick red color. Nose of blackberry and anise. Wonderful, fully-developed black fruits, soft tannins and lingering aftertaste. Drink soon after opening as the fruit faded when I tasted it four hours later. Definitely at its prime.

March 16, 2015 - Spicy red fruit with a short finish. Nice wine at a good price.

July 2, 2014 - Let this decant for a couple of hours and it's an outstanding QPR!

October 3, 2013 - Nice wine, great acidity and cherry flavors. Went well with a pasta bake with goat cheese. Nice balanced wine.

June 9, 2013 - Significantly better than the last one, confirming bottle variation/bad bottle. Nothing special, but a nicely assembled Sangiovese.
