April 12, 2014 - Light straw color, bright quality. The nose on this wine is off the charts, Asian pear, perfume, and spring flowers. A bit fruit forward on the attack but immediately backed but with a balancing salinity. Yellow apple and yellow pear flavors. Medium weight yet soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish. One of my favorites and perfect pairing for seafood.

January 2, 2014 - Popped and poured, and then let it warm up just a bit from the fridge. Great aromatics of flowers, honey, and minerals. Excellent palate of pears, stone, honeysuckle.

I bought 3 of these recently, and plowed through 2 quite quickly - an excellent bottle of wine that hits my sweet spot. This and Calicaro are probably my 2 favorite Viogniers right now. All of the qualities I want without overdoing it.

November 22, 2013 - Consumed over ~2 hours at cool room temp. A fresh, lively rendition with pear & stone fruit complemented by floral notes and a nice underlying acidity. Beautifully dry and light, particularly for a viognier from CA. Very well done.

July 21, 2013 - Boy this drank good. Aromatics were lively--ginger, honeysuckle, floral and then the palate was nice and zingy, balanced. Really stood out, delciious.

July 4, 2013 - Delicious. One of my wine drinking buds, who isn't much of a white wine guy, loved it. Minerally, with deep stone fruit flavors, but nothing too much or too OTT. Well-balanced. I just wish I hadn't been sharing it with 4 other folks so that I could have had more.

May 5, 2013 - Tercero Dinner - Now we're all uncomfortable (FMIII in the OC): Same note as on 2/17/13 @ falltacular. I really like this wine. Bought a 6 pack, 'nuff said.

May 4, 2013 - Tercero Dinner in the OC with Larry Schaffer (My House In The South OC): I starred this wine in my notes. Lime, tangerine, anise, really good, with a core of acid in the finish. Another one to order. Excellent viognier.

April 20, 2013 - Twist and pour. I get the honeysuckle others have commented on, it's very prominent. An unctuous core of peach skin, pear jam and orange. Light hit of fennel of anise in the finish, too. I am enjoying this, will be pairing it with some cheeses shortly and see how that dynamic works.
