September 30, 2020 - Tight after opening, with plenty of acidity and tannin but a little short on flavor. Strictly a food wine I thought. But I kept half a bottle for a second night, and it then opened a good deal, with lovely, rich aromatics and a much richer mid-palate. That said, the balance still seemed a little off, with plenty of tannin and maybe a tad too much acidity on the finish. It will be interesting to see if there’s enough fruit to make this better in the future.

November 13, 2013 - Slight reduction initially noted on nose and palate. Blows off after only a few minutes. Nice Pinot nose emerges. Good fruit somewhat dominated by tannins at this early stage of development. Good acidity. Will benefit from cellaring.
