October 31, 2016 - Raspberry and blackberry aroma's coming back in the flavor. Wood also obviously present. Any bottles left should be consumed immediately as this wine was already slightly over time.
June 6, 2015 - Very good smooth Malbec, with round cherry flavours, modest dose of oak nicely integrated giving hints of allspice, good medium acidity keeping this mature wine fresh. Very good to drink now but will probably last 1-2 years longer. Excellent QPR at €7. 88-89 pts.
September 24, 2014 - 5 cent BevMo solid Malbec at a great price point.
May 4, 2014 - - Purple color and aromas of black currant and black pepper and has flavours of molasses and black currant with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a medium finish.
April 22, 2014 - Corked. Still drinkable and I could detect what was probably a decent wine underneath the moldy cardboard smell... fortunately, I could buy a new bottle today with a discount, so will try again soon.
January 20, 2014 - Weekly tasting group #104; One varietal (or blend), two countries (and that 6 times) (@ BS): Lactic bouquet with raspberry yoghurt. On the palate a sweet start and at first round and supple, but with more air the wine showed firm cherries, red fruits, leather, some green bell pepper, firm acidity and tannin and also a firm dose of oak. No hurry with this wine.
October 17, 2013 - Sweet licorice nose. Light to medium bodied, delivering salt licorice and dark fruit. Quite supple and easy drinking.
August 8, 2013 - Enjoyed a bottle of this last evening and it was packed with sour cherries! Opened up nicely after an hour or so and will be buying more at $8.95.
August 7, 2013 - Bon Malbec Argentin, savoreux et rond.
July 25, 2013 - Got better with a lot of air, but still, it's worth its price.
