March 7, 2020 - Terrific drinking right now. Showing a little brown around the edges, but in the mouth it's fresh and powerful. Probably not going to get any better; Drink now and over the next few years.

January 26, 2020 - Bought from retailer on release snd stored properly...so curious how this would have held up. a bit reticent on opening...then comes to life after about 30 - 45 mins of airtime in the glass. does not seem 21 years old. turns dark purple...with a bit of sediment suspended in the glass....deep cherry core, slight spice, long finish....fruit apparent and dominant.

December 25, 2019 - Might be my last bottle, and more than a little funk on opening - not objectionable to my palate, but if you insist on "clean" wines, this could put you off this wine.

Ripe red & black fruit on the palate - I have had better bottles of this fully mature Brunello.

December 17, 2019 - Really very good now. Expressive nose of red berries. Wet moss. Complex. In my view at its best now and can stay for a few years. Extremely well made.

October 12, 2019 - Down to my last couple bottles of this wine. Really like the nose - a mix of red & black fruit, with a smoked meat note for additional complexity.

Seamless on the palate. Maybe a touch short on the finish, and the palate doesn't really follow through on that great nose, bur pretty enjoyable all the same. If you have this in the cellar and haven't tried it in a while, I'd advise pulling a bottle out to check in on it, as this doesn't strike me as a wine that will go 30 years.
