June 21, 2015 - Oh how tastes can change or was it the wine? I found this bottle to be overly extracted and almost jammy in nature, more like a Zin. The flavors of sour fruit were mixed with a sweetness that was cloying and distasteful in its length. I have 2 more bottle so perhaps I need to taste those soon toe.

January 12, 2014 - Good but not great. Even after aerating. Balanced and a smooth finish but fruit never dazzled.

November 27, 2013 - True Russian River Pinot. Big fruit ( cherry, strawberry) on the nose, medium light fruitiness on the mid pallet with a nice tannic/acidic finish. Drinking perfectly now.

November 11, 2013 - Nice pleasant pinot with a very nice nose. Not as great as the bottle we tasted last spring at winery which blew me away, but still a nice pinot.

September 13, 2013 - A fine wine with character and body which is more Burgundian or Italian (Brunello) than SoCo, just delicious. Good balance of acidity and remnant tannins with super fruit, but not too much. Some berries, RR style, but the acidity is omnipresent. A great food wine. Salmon or other fish is great. I need to experiment with more robust foods. I suspect it will hold its own well.
