Italiana Likes this wine:
November 24, 2017 - Very sound cork. A fairly dark color for Barolo. Tar. Initial fruit, then dusty tannins along with heat from the high alcohol. Seems like it's not giving all it's got yet. Still, it had a certain elegance. Try again in a couple of years.

January 2, 2016 - See previous note. More developed and tannins more tamed, still glorious.

July 23, 2015 - Tasted and Purchased at the winery in 2007. Double decanted, beginning signs of maturity. Complex and medium bodied, great nose. Still have to Shed some tannins. Last bottle

January 6, 2013 - Decanted for 3 hours before first sniff. Quite compact nose with leather, herbs ('laurier' and 'maggi') and cherries. Robust on the palate with big tannins and a salty impression. Big wine but with great sense of place and typical structure for Serralunga.
