May 13, 2012 - We really enjoyed this one. They have a knack in the Loire to produce layered and concentrated Chenin Blanc, and this is no exception. Quite large on the palate, while still being surprisingly light on it's feet. Golden Color. Earthy, expressive, rocky nose of lemon, melon, and flowers. Big, quick hitting grapefruit, lemon, melon and peach fruit. Solid back up of bright crisp acid. Big mouth full of balanced, earthy, fruity wine. Very satisfying finish lasts for minutes.
