October 29, 2014 - Fully matured at 14 years this baby just leapt out of the glass and kept on giving. Complex huge flavors of spices, perfume, honey, fruits of all sorts balanced perfectly in the glass and preceding a gorgeous finish - tickled my tongue right to the end. Fabulous.

May 24, 2014 - Drank this at Emeril's in New Orleans. It was showing beautifully - shea vineyard produces great pinot noir and this is a great example. Bright bing cherry and vibrant acidity, stone and cedar plank. Chalky tannin and a delicious but short finish. Not improving but a phenomenal experience.

February 23, 2014 - Unbelievable great wine at age 14. Tasted like a grand cru wine from MSD. Very rich nose, of earth, not fruit, very dense color, not a hint of fading yet. Wish I had more.

August 14, 2011 - - Crimsom color. It's lacking fruit with a light/medium body. Narrow texture with a short finish - Perfect cork. Decanted for 1 hour. Nice Pinot but it's best days are behind it. Muted with dulling fruits.
