March 16, 2021 - followed over two nights. The first night it was a fairly straightforward wine. The second night was like CDP and St Joseph had a love child.

November 6, 2020 - My last bottle of 20 purchased! Fully integrated, deep and smooth, perhaps just past its peak. Cork crumbled on opening.

March 3, 2020 - Mature, in it's twilight, but still lovely.

August 27, 2019 - Only just getting to the 1st of my 4 of these, and it's showing really nicely aged and in a good spot tonight for my palate. Dense, opaque coloring with garnet edges. Beautiful aromatics of lavender, dark fruits, potting soil, balsamic, and mushroom. A little soft on the palate, with medium body, acid, and finish, and flavors of dark fruit, iron, beef blood, balsamic, lemon, and spice. Perfect with Chinese crispy beef and peppers tonight, and I think mushroom or beef dishes that aren't too rich or fatty is the call (this is not ribeye/slab-n-cab material here), or balsamic chicken would probably be clutch. This is a lovely bottle and I'm probably going to rip through the other 3 in the near term.
