June 15, 2019 - Decanted 30 min. Brick color. Dark cherries and dried roses. Some tar. Earthy. Round palate with dark fruits. Resolved tannins. Seems ready now, have developed a lot since last bottle. Drink now.

August 25, 2018 - Rather shut down at the moment are hard to judge. Opens up a bit on day 2. Hold 3-4 years.

May 14, 2017 - A few years since last visit and those years were needed. Although this wine was fine when being young as well as long as it got a long decant; that being said the wine still is on the young side. The fruit is on the elegant side, the complexity reveals with air and most certainly is better on day two still. Great acidity, tannins are there and the wine is in balance. Great Nebbe at this level in an elegant style. Long finish.

January 25, 2016 - Lovely. Lighter style nebbiolo, drinking very well, but with enough complexity to make it interesting. It developed even more complexity on the second day, but then the bottle was gone. Tannins are still grippy, but far from excessive.
One of the best QPR ever.

December 20, 2015 - Wow was this good. Round and delicious, the wine danced on a beautifully balanced palate and finished with incredible length. This is just a slight step behind his 2010 Baroli. The wine has the acidity to age for quite some time.
