May 12, 2012 - New vintage for me of this lovely sekt. Very dark yellow in colour, and the nose is quite intruiging. Slightly different from what the previous vintages I have tasted, there are lots of typical mature Riesling notes there, as citrus, flower and minerals, but it is buttery as a white Burgundy. That continues into the palate - lovely, full mouth feel, rich, still fresh and lovely acids, and a fat buttery taste. Wehad it with side og goat kid that had been steamed and grilled, and that was a great match.
