July 22, 2014 - Not as enjoyable as the other whiskies as served on the rocks; especially the slight bitterness in the aftertaste and the sharp mouthfeel with little creaminess.

June 22, 2014 - Very good dram for the money, its creamy, fullbodied, refreshing and satisfying for an entry level scotch single malt.

February 20, 2014 - Kind of plain...worthwhile perhaps as a baseline for other scotches or as an intro, but honestly it's a bit bland, caramelly, oaky, hot, lacking any sense of peat or heather, almost just tastes like "whiskey."

June 11, 2013 - Orange and cinnamon on the nose. Slightly hot on the palate, especially at the front end, with notes of cinnamon and barley, and a creamy mouthfeel. Orange liquor on the finish. Best when consumed out of the original Glenlivet tumblers. Amazing value at K&L.

July 26, 2012 - In the bouquet some sweetness; caramel and butterscotch. On the palate very smooth with some sweetness and oaky flavors. Really nice whisky.
