October 3, 2010 - Ripe, rich style... delicious. Not sure I am a complete fan of such big Pinots, but there's no arguing with how tasty this was. Almost felt like there was a Syrah-like component here.

August 11, 2010 - Multi-dimensional pinot that's quite enjoyable, as well as interesting, but this is not quite in the same deliciously integrated spot that it was when we drank our first bottle a year ago. The spicy notes now seam a bit rough, but the finish is still long and smoothe.

May 19, 2010 - Three hour decant. Tried a little right after opening and the nose showed a lot of mineral and cherry fruit. Some sour cherry on the palate with a little bit of earthiness. High acid and some drying tannins take over on the finish. Initial thought is this wine has a bit of an identity crisis....not enough fruit to be new world, but lacking earthy complexity.

After a couple hours, it was showing very nicely. More fruit in the mix with nice spicy, perfumey mid palate. The structure is definitely still present, but the wine is a bit more balanced. Lengthy finish. Probably still needs a couple in the cellar.

July 24, 2009 - Beautiful, deep red color. Pretty aromatics. Rich with a luscious mouth-feel. Excellent balance and a medium-long finish. This is my favorite Lynmar single-vineyard pinot to date.

June 28, 2009 - Sonoma-Napa Trip Day 2 and 3; 6/27/2009-6/28/2009 (Sonoma): Mineral and graphite nose. Saturated translucent appearance. Rich. Medium-full bodied. Slightly metallic cherry fruit. Pretty good. Expensive. $70.
