October 22, 2022 - Aussie Tasting (Minneapolis, MN): A half a point behind the Jimmy tonight. 2nd best wine at the tasting. Eucalyptus, dark fruits, spice, earth, underbrush and dark chocolate. Medium plus finish. This has 5 or more years left of pure enjoyment.

July 24, 2022 - Although it was severely corked and a lot of sediment after straining it drank quite nicely

August 28, 2021 - Huge bloom bit after After 20 minutes or so it's just perfect. Silk ink deep berry.

July 18, 2021 - Garnet, with slight amber edges. Pronounced aromas of sweet black cherries and plums. Very smooth, round, elegant flavors to match, not a "fruit bomb", but much softer than in its youth. No tannin left. Long, sweet aftertaste. Wonderful and elegant, at its peak. Of the Sarah-Sparky wines, we've always loved the Shirvingtons for their balance of power and elegance.
