April 16, 2020 - Nicely maturing garnet. Quite light and pale, but with just a hint of dark purple hanging on.
Gorgeous nose. Minty, floral black fruit, and there's that touch of antiseptic that's marked this wine from the beginning. Much more leather, tar and coffee now.
Excellent palate. Noticeably more mature than the colour would lead you to believe, but not at all over the hill. Bright, open, fresh black fruit with just a touch of cherry jam. Quite light and silky textured, but there's a richness and depth to the fruit. Decent length.

February 2, 2013 - Our first and only experience with "The Craic" was very nice. Very nice nose and wonderful berry flavors on the palate. Did not seemed to be at all faded, though I admit that I have nothing younger with which to compare it.

May 25, 2010 - Nose wowed me... blackberry, black fruit jam and tar. Delicious stuff. Blackberries, vibrant acidity, long. Forward upfront fruit, but not fat. The tar or creosite comes in just a bit.

May 16, 2010 - This was a very good bottle. Blackberry, menthol, chocolate with a trace of heat, but not stewed and pruny in the least.

February 21, 2010 - Much better bottle this time around. Not hot, pretty well balanced. All ion all a very nice wine.
