January 6, 2024 - TCA is a disappointing flaw that would not blow off. Aerated and vac u vin to nurse for three days hoping the taint would become less obvious to no avail. Nice backbone and would have been a stellar addition to our meal had it not been flawed.

March 11, 2022 - Lovely, elegant age. Fruit and acid in perfect balance. Blue and purple fruit juicy and long. Wood and spice dusting on mid.

December 30, 2021 - Gotta say I was skeptical when I pulled this out of my cellar as I thought it might be past its prime. But it really was in prime shape - a very pretty ruby red glossy in the glass with a clear rim. Nose has some smoked elements and tobacco. Fruit has nice aged component with raisins, currants and some spice. Nice long savory finish with good acidity. In prime window. Complex for a wine at this price point.
