Community Tasting Notes 6

November 16, 2016 - Bright yellow-gold color. Fresh pear, apple, and pineapple aromas are joined by some nutmeg and vanilla notes on the palate with a lemon cream and apple medium finish. This is dirinking well now. Leftovers are more advanced in color the next day and the alcohol shows through more prominently. Drink, but no rush.

September 22, 2016 - Bright yellow color. Aromas of lemon, a hint of vanilla, and apple. Palate has sweet pear and apple core with lemon and some vanilla on a medium long finish. Preferred over the 2009. Stil very fresh. Lovely. Drink or hold.

March 23, 2016 - Bright yellow-gold color. Apple/lemon nose with a hint of vanilla and nut. Palate is lemon-dominated with honeysuckle, tart apple, and nutmeg joining in on a medium finish. No real evolution here; holding steady in a near-release state. Drink or hold.

April 5, 2014 - Really enjoyed this Chard.

In the glass its a clear bright yellow with a nose of pear, lemon and a slight flowery bouquet.

Once it opened the it was smooth on the palate with added green apple along with the citrus fruits. The 100% French oak comes through and helps to produce that smooth mouth feel without being too buttery. Acids are in balance.

A great Chardonnay anytime a white wine feels right.

September 27, 2013 - Bright yellow color. Aromas of meyer lemon, apple, pear, and melon. Palate has bright, crisp apple and pear notes with some sweet lemon and melon that carry into a lightly spiced medium-long finish. This has a lot of fruit and retains freshness while being a full Chardonnay. Drink or hold.
