  April 27, 2020 - This was very well balanced and attractive, nothing awry, not much acidity, showing some nice bottle age. A bit one dimensional, though very smooth and elegant, medium to full-bodied. Didn't wow me but useful when you want something a little different to the usual Napa Cab Sauvignon. This Cab Franc had a slightly more green and stoney/mineral aspect which I normally find with Cab Franc's. 92+pts.

  September 19, 2018 - Gotta remember that Cab Franc is not Cab Sauv, so waiting is a gamble. This was not *over* the hill, just slightly past peak IMHO. Still nice and round, good blue fruits, rose petal, nothing wrong with it. Just a little less interesting than I'm sure it was a couple years ago. I'll agree with the current window - drink now!

  February 2, 2017 - Excellent. Decanted 2 hours before drinking. Served with rack of lamb. Wonderful pairing. Hints of bell pepper, a bit of olive, tobacco, spice, leather, rubber. Black cherry is dominant fruit, but the fruit is very well balanced with the tannins. Very drinkable. Wish I had more.
