August 30, 2022 - It has a medium brick red color with a clear rim.
At first, lots of bright cherry. After 1-2 hours it’s more complex but more muted. Cherry still comes through and now there is rhubarb, fresh wild chanterelles, leather, and a little awkward funkiness with iodine.
It’s light in the mouth with some strawberry and raspberry.
Acidity is balanced and body is in the lighter side if medium.

August 19, 2022 - Nose is well aged Pinot. Entry is lithe just picked strawberry essence rich but delicate, sweet but no way jammy. Keep squirgling and you get a touch of spicy green then licorice which is covered by the increasing elegance of the Pinot juice. The Riedel is now bursting with that strawberry perfume. I thank the grape pickers who chose small berries wisely. The winemaker shows skill for absence of oak or other intrusive intervention.
I would compare the 2011 to the 1993 and 2001, let the grapes shine!

    April 30, 2022 - nice wine
it looks like there fruit on this one is not going to ever get through the Tannins.
a nice wine but no comparison to the 2008 and 2009 I recently drank

April 20, 2022 - Light in color, body but long on flavor. Delicious wine with food. I think it is a keeper for a couple more years at least
