November 3, 2023 - I expected this to be better. It's like a fully mature Medium Range Bdx that's been thoroughly polished with acidity added. A small tannic nibble still remains.

Alte Liebe's sommelier got the grapes and Toscana right (*applause*)

Quite typical but doesn't belong even near the top shelf.
    Disappointment 😞

April 6, 2023 - Really good after 1h in the decanter. Foggy magenta appearance with plush raspberry taste and classic mature BDX nose. Perfect for today’s rib eye and ghost pepper fries.

August 23, 2022 - Juicy; raspberry and licorice; muscle; textured; grinding sweet cherry licorice finish.

April 15, 2022 - Cloudy purple. Slight brett upon opening but an overnight decant helped blow that away. Herbal and cherry was then discernible. Soft tannins and still some acidity to back that up. Medium minus body. Medium minus finish. I have one bottle left and am hoping that isn’t bretty like this was.

July 30, 2020 - Sweet cherry and earth; soft; balanced; smooth sweet finish.
