January 12, 2023 - Purple in color. 14.9% ABV. Stunning nose of black fruits, leather and licorice. Medium to full bodied with tremendous structure and concentration. Perfect balance of fruit and tannins. Black currants, cassis and tobacco on the palate. Nice length on the finish. More reminiscent of a classic Bordeaux than contemporary Cabernets from Northern California. Really well made and ready to drink. Best over the next several years.

June 30, 2019 - Similar to the last bottle, this is a style that I really love. The green streak is there but I really enjoy it in the same way that some Bordeaux have a similar profile but here you get it with riper more delicious fruit. This right in my wheelhouse
