July 6, 2023 - Great wine, good balance, nice density but also elegant and good acidity/tannin structure. A bit on the young side, so I’d expect this to be very long lived. Could gain up to 97+ if fully mature. Now more around 94

May 24, 2022 - Drank with the wine group. Large scaled Napa Cabernet with perfect balance. Good fruit, acids and structure without being over ripe. The perfectly ripe tannins finish with a chocolate flavor note. This should be very long lived and will gain complexity with additional bottle age. Needs a good decant at this point.

April 14, 2022 - Nice wine here , high end characteristics , tannic , drying , rich nose.If the tannins integrate with the wine , it will become special.

January 16, 2022 - This is a Cabernet from the darkest depths of Mordor. Nothing sweet about it. Black fruit, black pepper, graphite, charcoal cinders, long finish with a tannic bite. If you can look into the eye of Sauron and ramble on with a smile, this is a wine for you.

November 2, 2021 - Wonderfully drinking now, decanted for an hour and evolved more in the glass. Lots of smooth tannins, sweet dark fruit, earthy notes, nice minerality, and great acidity make for a very balanced and easy drinking wine. Paired beautifully with some lightly seasoned filets. Have 6 more to go, but drinking so well now that I assume it’s at or near peak.
