January 25, 2018 - This has settled into a nice place. Wasn’t stored very carefully (closet racks), but has held up very well. Much better than when last tasted. Has opened up, although the fruit has pretty much dropped out. Left behind are mostly tertiary flavors and aromas of tobacco, black licorice, and tar with some nice spice and lavender to keep things interesting. Drink up. (🍷🍷= Worth Seeking Out, but Drink Now)

August 16, 2017 - Drying notes with leather, sour cherry and maybe a hint of Brett. Briary with a nose of deep purple berry. I don't get cedar...or cedar an.

January 21, 2017 - Opened with some trepidation given the notes below, but this was fantastic. Luscious nose -- raspberry, black pepper, underbrush and sage. Pure raspberry through the palate, bright with a savory streak. Lots of pepper, some hard candy and flinty mineral edge. Super long finish. Great.

September 18, 2016 - As jonahfactor said, a curiousity. Used to the Cedarman being more of a brooder, but this is zingy like putting your tongue on the top of a 9-volt. Even weirder because the nose is of graham cracker and coffee grounds, so you don't expect it. Plum, raspberry, licorice, mocha flavors, more as expected, but the acid (and probably a little heat) ends up leaving you high and dry. 89 but at least a couple points higher if it integrates someday.

August 23, 2016 - Initially thin, a bit bitter, tannic despite decant for an hour. After about 3 hours, opened up into a much more full wine early and mid-taste, but still a bit astringent on the finish
