Community Tasting Notes 7

November 18, 2017 - My lone bottle. Excellent bottle of Pinot with dark cherry and raspberry notes with a hint of vanilla. Wish I had another to see if it would be even better a few years from now but alas it will have to be onward to the next vintage.

November 14, 2015 - One of the biggest Walt Pinots I have tasted. Lots of dark fruit and tannin.

December 11, 2014 - Ruby red color, lots of cherry and berry fruit on the nose. Medium bodied exploding with cherry, raspberry, and a bit of vanilla. Finishes flawlessly.

February 7, 2014 - Black fruit dominates the taste profile, with not much cherry/raspberry. Definite spice of cinamon and nutmeg. Mouth feel is dense for a Pinot. Medium/full body with nice complexity, but the high alcohol at over 15% makes it less food friendly than some west coast Pinots. Nice sipping by itself though. A serious pinot noir.

October 21, 2013 - Refined bordeaux style pinot. Favorite of all Walt Pinot.
