  October 12, 2014 - Light purple, medium body,
  Meaty upfront nose followed by a cascade of floral notes
  Sour cherries, raspberries are also evident
  Dry, very tannic, acidic, a great food pairing wine.
  Some tin notes off the back end
  
  Although not the sort of wine a normally go for, i was pleasantly surprised. Opened up fully by hour 3, and MUCH more enjoyable than hour one.

  June 24, 2012 - Dark fruit, blackberries, smoke. Concentrated dark fruit in the mouth. Mineral balance is bang on! This is special! 100% barrel aged, 550 litrres, 30% new. 2.8
