February 26, 2021 - Glad I still had one bottle and regretting drinking the others earlier. This is drinking well now. Decanted with venturi for 1 hr. Still has very solid legs and the tannins are still there so if kept well I'd say it still has life in it. Barnyard funk on the nose is faint, along with some red fruit. Heavy and a bit grainy on the palate. Carnberry with pomegranate and some blood orange and cherry on the palate leads to strong acid note and a pretty lengthy finish that has a hint of a saline note (interesting). Enjoying it now more than any of the other bottles I had.

October 28, 2019 - Glad I held onto two of these. On previous bottles over the years it was good but nothing special and the tannins were a little harsh. Now it's great. Really good nose and fruit is still evident. Tannins have finally softened and drinking beautifully. Excellent with food.

    ‘Nuff said.

October 9, 2018 - Heat from prior review has turned to braised meat on the nose right out of the bottle.
    Bright colour has not deteriorated.
    Long slow legs.
While tannins have eased a bit, there is still a firm thin coating on the tongue and teeth.
    Chewy spicy initial palate,
agitate and swallow gets a bit hot.
Got some candied raspberry and vanilla
    Finish is medium in length.
This wine has plenty of life certainly several years but drinking beautifully now.

July 23, 2015 - It was unfortunate that I purchased a case from wine library, as were many others I guess. Disappointing in general. The most recent bottle was pretty decent but nothing to get excited about.
