October 21, 2018 - Delicious. My last bottle. Still briskly acidic and bright with red cherry and smoke notes.
January 25, 2018 - Très bien pour le prix, mais pas aussi spécial que le laissait entendre WS. À boire pour ne pas perdre davantage de fruit.
December 10, 2017 - Very nice Tuscan with some complexity and body.
March 13, 2016 - color already had very slight signs of aging with brown on the rim.
Nose was still vibrant, and attractive.
Taste had a bitterness to it that offset any of the other flavors. Didn't get any real fruit, just some alcohol, tannin, and color.
Other wines stored similarly from the same vintage did not fade as quickly, so I don't think it is too blame.
But who knows?
We should have drank this a couple of years ago.
The 84 isn't fair. The wine must have been a lot better when it was younger; IGT usually means drink soon.
September 11, 2015 - Brickish in color, medium bodied, restrained floral and menthol, dried fruit and spice, a little off balance to the right, soft tannins carry on into the finish.
April 26, 2015 - Very disappointed by this wine & by Wine Spectator. It had a sticker on it showing a 92 rating by Wine Spectator, my reason for buying a bottle. Color was a nice purple, and its aroma showed promise; however, the taste disappointed, as it had no distinct flavors and was not balanced (acidic) and did not linger. Tasted again 24 hours later to find it had deteriorated greatly. I will not buy this again.
March 26, 2015 - Disappointed after favorable WS review and waiting, decanting the wine shows limited complexity and finish. Tannins are gone. Consistent w prior bottle 6 mos ago.
