Community Tasting Notes 3

November 27, 2021 - Limited notes taken. A wine pairing for a 30 course tasting menu at Ernst, Berlin. Pours a deep gold. Incredibly evolved for its age with petroleum, bitter orange, orange blossom, and honeysuckle. Bone dry, slightly austere, and lacking depth. For riesling this isn’t one for the long haul and based on this tasting is best enjoyed in its youth.

April 16, 2014 - Very closed on day 1. But on day 2 wow. What an amazing nose, doesn't come all the way through to the mouth. I guess this wine would have a long life span. I would love to follow this wine over the next years.

June 8, 2012 - Crisp, minerally, and flinty with hints of sour lime and fermented pear. Good acidity. I really enjoyed this wine
