April 7, 2024 - Has developed nicely. Tannins have softened but still there. Nice acidity…structure to support further aging. Starts to open up after a couple of hours…decant would be helpful at this point. Should easily see its 20th birthday.

July 10, 2023 - good, but lacking some depth. i like the '09 better.
June 30, 2023 - On the nose surprisingly fresh and vibrant, gorgeous florals and baking spices. More black than red fruit, excellent integration. Subtle tertiary aromas of truffle, leather, and cigar box. A powerhouse but refined and elegant. I only wished the finish was a bit longer. These beautiful flavours disappeared quite quickly on the tongue.
June 21, 2023 - Very dark red color. Decanted for 30 minutes and drank a glass over 3 hours plus. The nose is showing better than the palate tonight. The nose has plenty of fruit , blackberry, mulberry, almost juicy fruits, wood, damp; the palate still shows the black and blue fruits, but the dried wood and tannins seem to be overtaking the fruit at this point. I've still got one too, so we will see if this was variation or if it is time to drink up. Will likely open over the next year or so.
May 7, 2023 - This has evolved beautifully since I tried it last in 2018. The tannins are partially resolved, but add structure to the dark fruit body. Similar blue fruit and tobacco notes to the nose Added class to our lasagna !

February 4, 2023 - Decanted and drank over an hour. Pretty tight upfront. Developed some mushroom but SO young. We gifted to wait staff. Certainly continued to improve and they would provide best assessment.
