October 24, 2015 - We sipped after the third day of the Hong Kong Golf Open. Greenish slightly yellow, a tad acidic, and surprsingly more feminine than expected for a Grand Cru. Steely apple and pineapple on the nose and palate. Smooth. Apparently Bougros often is a milder expression of Chablis. Perhaps the age helped to smooth out this fairly elegant Chardonnay. All good…but could be much better.

April 20, 2015 - Greenish slightly yellow, huge minerality, a tad less acidic than usual, but surprsingly more feminine than expected for a Grand Cru. Apparently Bougros often is a milder expression of Chablis. Perhaps the age helped to smooth out this fairly elegant Chardonnay. All good…but could be much better.

June 12, 2012 - Soft nutty characters and seashell minerality and very attractive acidity. Went very well cutting through all the fat of Takoyaki and Karaage w/ Japanese Mayo and Bonito. Might have to make some seafood Okonomiyaki for the next bottle.
