October 15, 2022 - A competent southern Rhône style blend from CA that improved with air.
Perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days, fruit more predominant on the first day. Softened depth and integrated complexity on day two. Deep dark ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of black cherry with a hint of licorice. Flavors of cherry, fig, blackberry, and leather with a medium finish. A balanced flavorful Rhône blend of 77% Grenache, 17% Syrah, 4% Mourvedre, and 2% Petit Sirah. This is an age worthy wine with a few more years of life left. This is my last bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar.

March 6, 2013 - A nose of dark fruits and spice, dark black in color. A medium to full bodied Rhone red blend, with blackberry, blueberry, some pepper and spice on finish, a bit disjointed.

March 5, 2013 - This wine is a lovely Rhone style blend from Napa with mostly Grenache with some Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Petite Sirah. The color is a lovely medium ruby red with an expressive nose of blackberry, black pepper and anise. The mouth feel is full to medium fruit forward with a lively acidic mid pallet and smooth tannic finish. I could drink a lot of this.
