May 27, 2022 - Very interesting wine to remember. Cork crumbled but after decant and strainer, the wine was not adversely affected. Complex wine that makes you want to think snd talk about it. Tobacco, leather, smoke, sunset before rain on nose. Dark, inky color but not heavy. Again tobacco, leather, ink, dark plum, eggplant, black pepper and graphite on the palate. Complimentary to food (grilled burgers and afterwards assorted cheese plate).

March 27, 2021 - Ready with brief decant. Bold RR as expected. Black olive and raspberry on the palate.

May 29, 2020 - A round, polished, very nicely clean, berry and well balanced Syrah. Medium body; nice, medium+ acidity, slightly spicy notes, leather, delicate hints of chocolate. Closer to an Australian cool climate Shiraz than a Syrah from the northern Rhine. Good length. 92 points 2020-2025

April 28, 2019 - Drink over 3 days. First day was forest and cedar with initial sweet notes and balanced. On last day, wine became softer with sweet like marigold with cedar, mocha. Not overtly fruity. Enjoyed with mushroom risotto and babaganoush. Very excellent.

December 14, 2018 - Decanted off a substantial amount of fine sediment. Expressive nose that’s still fruit forward. Tasty, but for a seemingly full bodied wine, is a bit weak in the middle, with a short(ish) finish.
