June 29, 2017 - Wish i had purchased 5+ cases of this instead of 2009 Bordeaux. At least this smells, tastes and lingers like Cabernet Sauvignon, unlike those over ripe, unbalanced Frankenstein wines of Michael Rolland & Co.

Wonderful balance between Cabernet character, just ripe enough character and the ability to pair with grilled lamb. Very well done. Heck, this might even be better if i had stored it properly.

May 2, 2016 - A little too lean for me. I liked the prior bottles more, this one lacked a little umph, although I would attest to it being a well-made wine.

February 15, 2016 - PnP, this was tart and tannic a bit harsh even to the point of being a bit bitter. The tannins resolved a bIt with some fruit peaking out but this is just too tart and green and needs to mellow and more fruit to round it out a bit. Hoping my other two bottles show better.

September 10, 2015 - Research re: recent library offer. Deep garnet color. Nose of raspberry/blackberry and some pencil lead. Pallet features deeper notes: currants, plum, spice, and cedar. Tannins mostly resolved but the acidity provides ample backbone. PNP, should have decanted 30-60 minutes.

Re: the acidity, which others have noted. With this bottling, it blew off within 45 minutes, but the evolution was material. That said, I clearly enjoyed the wine at all points, as I had plowed through three glasses already.

April 17, 2014 - Yes, it's a cold climate cab but it's well made and well rounded. It's got great high tones along with a really nice core of fruit. Superb really, nothing green (like I thought about the last bottle). A good food wine, but really nice to drink on its own too.
