February 1, 2020 - Excellent wine. Deep, dark color. Rich and complex with lots of apricot flavors. Less acidity than some wines.

Not a great pairing with the Chinese hot pot (especially the spicy pot: better with the savory pots), which overwhelmed the wine, but great on its own.

    Only 8.5% alcohol.

Drink now or age for 5-10 years.

June 15, 2019 - Best wine I’ve had this year. Really rich and complex, still peachy with good acidity, balance and length. This will last at least another 10 years and it will certainly improve. As close to perfection as you can get. Glad I have 2 more left

    July 30, 2018 - Very nice riesling.
    deep yellow, very slightly effervescent.
Citrus, flowers and a bit of flint on the nose.
Rich on the palate, medium sweet, medium long finish.

December 3, 2014 - delightful Spätlese! deep yellow colour in the glass with hints of effervescence. rather soft on the nose with subtle floral, citrus and wet stone aromas. but if the nose was a bit austere in flight, the palate was nicely intense, with peach, lemon, apple and tea layers floating in medium sweetness and held in tension by a persistent acidity. light alcohol made it feel weightless… even thru a persistent finish. i wondered how this would be on the ground with a bit more bottle age.

(with Nobu's Matsuhisa shrimp with sobu noodles and maui salsa)
