April 14, 2021 - Continues to drink well. Lemon mineral balance quite nice. First tasted in 2013, this wine has aged nicely.

April 11, 2020 - Deep straw color. Light melon on the nose. Dry, good minerality and a wonderful balance. Really enjoyable. This held up well. 90 pts. Aloha!

July 30, 2018 - Found after being presumed drunk. Interestng wet wool, waxy nose with notes of apple fruit. Palate is crisp and juicy with a decent long finish, apple and lemon fruit, almost severe acidity, long interesting finish. Drinking well, but glad that I found this now rather than in a couple of years.

July 8, 2018 - Monthly Tasting Group: Interesting Whites (ABC) at Heirloom (Heirloom, St.Paul, MN): Small taste. This had a skanky nose tonight, skunk cabbage, rather dank. Hmmm.

December 4, 2017 - Had over a couple of nights, notes similar to Nov. 2014 "drank a bit like a Muscadet to me, mineral - limestone, chalk...). This time I sum up with "smoky stony goodness". I got a pleasing smokiness across it and though it had pronounced minerality it wasn't hard, rather smooth. Time to drink up, I think. If you've got ideal cellar conditions, then a couple more years?

August 30, 2017 - Whole Fish Night with Whites (It's Greek to Me, Mpls): Small pour. Fairly typical chenin, and i mean that in a good way. Wool, petrol, green orchard fruit, peach, medium body with slightly chalky minerality. 90+pts.

February 21, 2017 - We had our third bottle with homemade chunky potato soup on 2/21/17. It had a rich, fragrant bouquet of apple, pear, lime, papaya and mineral aromas. The palate was rich, smooth and layered with flavors of apple, pear, lime, pineapple, papaya and mineral.
