December 2, 2014 - A fairly nice Cab for the $13 paid for it. Nice color and aroma, though the finish was not quite balanced and ended rather quickly.
November 13, 2014 - - Brick color and aromas of black currant and has flavours of black currant and strawberry jam - A nice dark purple color. Aroma has hints of fruit, though I found it non-distinct. Taste has flavors of strawberry jam and a hint of black currant; however, the finish is a bit sour.
June 23, 2013 - What to say but this is very opaque and purple in color.
Nose: Dark fruit, cassis, cherries maybe, some oak, with hints of eucalyptus, and a wee tad of chocolate.
Taste: Quite a dense and fulfilling drink. We got dark cherries, cassis, some smoke, and a little herbaciousness to the taste. It definitely shows off its tannic structure! Ya know there’s not a whole lot of middle to this. It’s up and down…..Wham bam thank you ma’am!
This is a good everyday wine, didn’t wow either of us, but good and enjoyable anyhoo.
May 28, 2013 - Decent, slight bitterness that faded with time.
May 12, 2013 - Enjoyable.
April 17, 2013 - Fair. There are much better Cabs at this price point.
March 28, 2013 - Full-bodied with jammy, juicy, and tart notes of blackberries, black currants, black plum, vanilla, spices, and a short, dry finish.
January 30, 2013 - kind of netural on this, thought it would be a good every day pour but it was thin, not offensive just kind of there
January 9, 2013 - From a Tasting Room 50ml bottle. Nose: Light expressiveness, black cherry, raspberry, and vanilla - nice but weak. Palate: Medium-full bodied, sweet and spicy dark fruit attack, menthol, smoke shows up mid-palate and builds in intensity thru back-end. Finish: Medium-plus length of smokiness with undertones of dark fruit.
December 20, 2012 - Decanted for about 30 min...Paired nicely with lamb chops...muted dark fruits on the nose...sour cherries and dark fruits on the attack and mid-palate...nice finish but too oaky for my taste.
