May 29, 2022 - Highly recommend and time to drink up any remaining holdings over the next 2-3 years - at peak with no further upside and now very soft with tannins all integrated. The best so far of our 16 bottles and at this point of maturation an excellent QPR wine for those that got it at release at the initial release price. Soft mouth feel, completely integrated with oak & tannins gone, very well balanced, medium to full bodied, light purple with peripheral bricking noted and a lovely medium long aftertaste. Nose of plum, dark cherry, raspberry, a sweet hint of molasses and black pepper. Flavor profile of dark stone fruit developing into more terroir driven earth, stone and leather with cigar box on the finish.

August 2, 2020 - PnP. Extra cellar time has been good for this. More balanced, tannins and oak mellowed, and the alcohol feels more in balance. Still pairs well with almond butter and honey sandwiches.

February 5, 2019 - After an hour to air out, it was nice and silky smooth.
Still quite the cocktail wine, though time in the cellar has really helped to balance things out in terms of the early oak dominance.2 people found this helpful Comment
