Community Tasting Notes 2

August 4, 2019 - Decanted for sediment. Pale ruby color. Nose showed a lot of woody aromas with cedar and a little oak, red cherry and some slightly green, herbal notes. Not my favorite. Similar notes on the palate with medium acid and tannin. Dry finish. Decent wine but a bit underwhelming. More of a food wine than a casual sipper.

February 20, 2017 - Very strange almost dilute low alcohol cherry syrup. As one of the other tasters said re a different vintage not like any red burgundy. Bad bottle or badly made wine?
