    June 10, 2015 - pop n pour

    nose:evident toast,hint of prune,strawberry,barnyard or may b its reductive nose(with more air fading off),herbs

    structure:soft tannins; intensity:close to gd; depth:abv average; complexity:abv average; acidity:gd

    palate:lots of red fruits,herbs,slight stemmy,mineral

conclusion:i agree with others tat there is some reduction here.with more air get livelier but reveal some stemminess.luv the body (medium) here which somehow reflect elegance

November 7, 2014 - Dusty tannins and bright red fruit. Great structure, so I would think this could go a long way.

September 12, 2013 - Fairly light and cloudy ruby with strong, earthy ginseng, exotic incense aromas letting through just a whisper of rhubarb and plum. A bit acrid and earthy on the palate but there's a nice body of balancing glycerin fanning out over the middle, and if not for that, the Tournelle Troussaeu I think would come across as a little harsh in the mouth. More gravitas here than the Ploussard with an added layer of complexity. The second day this shows more interest and depth. Because this held up well overnight I'm thinking there's some staying power here so look for the Trousseau to drink well as late as Winter, 2015. There will be quite a bit of oxidation by then but that may not be such a bad thing in this wine.

September 6, 2012 - Such a nice pure nose. Aroma profile quite similar to a Beaujolais, mixed with hints of fresh pinot- red cherries, earthiness, some herbaceous notes as well. Very clean and airy palate, medium body, very very easy drinking. Red berries juice with nice earthiness that you can also find in good Beaujolais. Amazing acidity, which gives nice freshnesss. Good medium finish.

August 3, 2012 - Jura-New Releases from Domaine de la Tournelle (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Light red, not perfectly clear. Aromatic. Light body but definitely more texture than the Poulsard. High acidity, light berry-like fruit, soil on the finish. This reminded me of a minor Cote de Beaune (say Aloxe Corton or Ladoix) from a lighter, high acid vintage such as 2007. I liked this.

June 23, 2012 - Midsummer weekend @ Sturköbaren; 6/23/2012-6/24/2012 (Sturkö, Sweden): Cold semi-carbonic maceration, without any so2. Light granate red hue, slightly turbid with violet reflections. Blue-print "natural" aroma profile, remiscent of hi-quality bojo with notes of cranberries, red cherries, strawberries, cinnamon, forest floor, and minerals. Quite a charmer - light, fresh, juicy and easy to down with generous berry aromas but not that much of a structure. Best served below 15 degrees to highlight the fresh fruit. A bit expensive for what it is @ 240 sek or $33 in Sweden (Vinik).
